Meet Kerry Pierce, co-founder of One of Us. A Boston native who has called San Diego home for the past 20 years, Kerry is a financial services executive, mom, wife, foodie, and longtime sports fan who joined the team after becoming friends with Kalani and Patricia as neighboring season ticket holders for the San Diego Wave since the club’s very first season.
What started as sitting next to each other at matches quickly turned into friendship—built around a shared love of sports, community, and the belief that women’s games deserve more than a side TV in the corner.
Growing up, Kerry played soccer and softball, but rugby was always her favorite, serving as captain and president of a collegiate women’s rugby club. These days, she’s happiest watching the Wave, the U.S. Women’s National Team, and pretty much any women’s sport somewhere with a good crowd, good food, and a strong drink.
As a big believer in Kalani and Patricia’s mission to create a true home for women’s sports fans in San Diego, joining One of Us felt like an easy yes. Kerry came on with the goal of helping accelerate the dream of turning One of Us into a permanent space for the community they knew already existed.
She brings her experience in management, investing and keeping the business side tight—along with strong opinions on what makes a great bar.
